Sustainable Canvas isn’t just another option—it’s the smarter, greener choice for artists.
Historically overlooked, polyester canvas is finally earning the recognition it deserves. Unlike traditional cotton or linen, Sustainable Canvas offers superior archival qualities: it resists mould, adapts to temperature changes, and maintains its tension over time, protecting your artwork from sagging or damage.
What makes it truly revolutionary? It’s crafted from recycled plastic bottles, turning waste that could harm our environment into a premium canvas for your creations. Plus, the unprimed option, popular in schools, gives artists the flexibility to customise their canvas with their preferred weight and tooth—just remember to prime it before painting!
For artists and collectors committed to sustainability, there’s no better choice. Together, let’s create and inspire while protecting our planet.
Unlike traditional canvases, the Sustainable Canvas won’t sag on stretcher bars due to temperature changes and will never mould.

I'm passionate about keeping waste out of our environment - even artworks! But the problem I kept encountering when I tried painting on upcycled canvasses, using alternatives such as upcycled banners, plastics or similar, despite receiving praise, they were very hard to sell. With this genius idea of a high quality, internationally certified and nationally tested canvas made out of plastic bottles (keeping in mind Australia's dreadful statistics on recycling) how can I NOT use them?? Sincerely, thank you so much.
Love this!
